Research

The scientific and professional orientation of the former and current professors and associate professors results in the orientation of scientific research activities in several areas.

Application of acoustic methods to non-destructive testing and diagnostics of building materials and structural elements.

Impedance spectroscopy
Acoustic emission
Impact-echo method
Ultrasound
Non-Destructive Testing of Defects
Confocal microscopy

The priority in publication strategy is in selecting the highly respected journals in the field of our research with high impact factor that are ranked in D1, Q1, and Q2 categories according to AIS metrics. Such papers usually have high international impact and are highly cited. As an example we can mention article published in Cement and Concrete Research journal in 2019 which has already gained 73 citations. The other criteria are the length of the revision process and availability to wide scientific community, though we do not favour open-access journals.
